ID card applications (wnioski o dowód osobisty)

Polish ID card applications (and earlier citizenship booklets) are particularly valuable in proceedings for the confirmation of Polish citizenship. Each application contains a photograph, personal data, parents’ names, a history of registered addresses, and the applicant’s handwritten signature. They are held in state archives.
