Poznań residents card index (Kartoteka miasta Poznania)

The Poznań residents card index is one of the most valuable Prussian and interwar genealogical aids. It comprises around 800,000 cards of people who lived in Poznań from the end of the 19th century to the 1940s. Each card records the date and place of birth, parents’ names, religion, successive addresses, and often the family composition.
